As a member of the IEEE, we hope the student branch enhances your membership. We started back in 2002 and exist as a not-for-profit group, run by student members on a voluntary basis. The branch aims to be involved with you on many fronts; the main ones being in terms of professional development, social interaction and educational activities.

To keep up with the fast paced action of the branch, we encourage you to sign up to our e-mail list. We'll then be able to apprise you of events before they occur.

Be a part of something big!

Throughout the year, the branch holds many events and activities. We encourage you to check them out and be involved! Activities such as Branch Seminars, the Industry Interaction Programme and branch BBQs are those which run on a regular basis. Other events are held on an as-needed basis.

All this happens because of the generous donation of time and effort by all committee members. Please contact us should you wish to find out a bit more about what happens behind-the-scenes and if you wish to get involved. We run regular meetings, roughly every 2-3 weeks. They are open to all; so please feel free to drop by if you're interested.
