How to Apply for Membership

Congratulations on your decision to apply for membership with the IEEE. The applicaiton process is a breeze if you apply and pay on-line with a credit card. If you don't have access to a credit card, an option to sign up by cheque is also avaiable. All applications go through IEEE headquaters, and not via the University of Melbourne IEEE Student Branch.

Payment via Credit Card

Online membership application is the easiest and the simplest way to apply for the IEEE Student Membership. You can go directly to IEEE's membership application website and begin!

It is very important that you select the "MELBOURNE UNIVERSITY OF" student branch during the application process. This will mean your application will be automatically endorsed.

Payment via Cheque

If you don't have a credit card, you can still apply on-line.

Simply apply on-line as above, then after the Application Summary, click the Checkout button and then select option #2, Print and Mail with Payment. Your information will be temporarily stored and matched with the form when it arrives at the IEEE Operations Center with payment.
