IEEE Discovery Tour 2004 - NEC Australia
3G Mobile and xDSL R&D Labs
The University of Melbourne IEEE Student Branch and the RMIT IEEE Student Chapter is proud to bring you the IEEE Discovery Tour of NEC Australia. This is a free tour with a focus on telecommunications - 3G mobile and xDSL technologies. If you are an engineering student (postgraduate or undergraduate) studying or researching in the field of telecommunications, or just someone wondering what the fuss 3G and xDSL is about, then this is the tour for you! |
Registration is currently open for all engineering students from the University of Melbourne and RMIT. |
As part of the tour, you'll be given an introduction to NEC Australia, the 3G Mobile and xDSL areas and R&D labs, as well as a tour! Best of all, you'll be able to ask real engineers in the field all of your burning questions and make contact with one of Australia's largest employers of R&D staff in the communications area. |
We're hiring a bus to get you there and back, providing you with a free return journey from the University of Melbourne and RMIT University. So sit back, relax and join us for a tour of discovery in September! |
