There will be four guest speakers with research and industry experience. Each speaker will talk about their work experience and there will be time for questions and discussions. This will be a great opportunity to find out more about working as a female engineer and being a female researcher. Light refreshment will also be provided after the discussion. |

|
Dr. Sarah Dods
Sarah has worked at Comalco for a number of years before starting her PhD at the University of Melbourne. She has been a research fellow in the Photonics Research Lab (PRL) of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. She is currently a researcher of the NICTA Victoria Research Lab. Gretta StephensGreeta is currently a Technical Manager at Point Henry aluminium smelter (Alcoa). In this role she is accountable for the technical direction of the smelter including support for daily operations and charting a course into the future utilising new technology. In Alcoa she has support of technical experts from around the world organised into technology teams. Christine TurskyChristine Tursky Gordon has worked in a number of technical and marketing roles at Hewlett Packard, Agilent Technologies and the University of Melbourne. She is currently Marketing Manager and part owner of SouthTech Systems, a specialised engineering company. She holds a B Eng (Hon) and a B A from the University of Melbourne, and a MMktg from the Melbourne Business School. Blinda WardBlinda Ward is currently working for Telstra Research Laboratories (TRL). |
