LaTeX Workshop
Thank you to all participants who joined us for this workshop on 8 October 2003. You may see photos of the event on-line. Please ensure you join our e-mailing list to be kept up-to-date on future workshops and branch events.
Are you...
- Frustrated with the awkwardness of typesetting papers in MS-Word?
- Spending all day formatting rather than concentrating on content?
- Wasting time with `equation editor` only to find that it died?
- Wanting to learn a much better way?
The University of Melbourne IEEE Student Branch is running a three and a half hour intensive workshop that will teach you how to produce great looking professional typeset documents in LaTeX, focusing on writing conference/journal papers in the IEEE style.
Save time, safe stress, save money! No steak knives, but to celebrate the running of our first major workshop, we're offering you a specially discounted price of $10 for IEEE members and $15 for everyone else.

Our information sheet will give you an overview of the workshop, including the topics being covered and a biography of those delivering the material.
