AGM, Polling Meeting and End of Year Dinner

Thank you all for a great year - the IEEE Student Branch has made wonderful progress with several social, technical and professional events that we hope many of you have enjoyed.

We would like to invite you to the Annual General and Polling Meeting to find out about what the Branch has been doing, who the executive committee will comprise for 2006 and how you can be involved. The agenda of the meeting will be announced on 21 November 2005. Meanwhile, find out more about how to nominate.

There will be a great prize-draw for University of Melbourne IEEE student members who come along to the AGM. Prizes include an iPod nano and three 512 MB USB memory sticks! If you'd like to be in the draw, it's not too late to join the IEEE as a student member. It's the world's largest technical professional association - for more info, visit www.ieee.org/membership.

As the year is quickly coming to a close, we're having one final get-together to celebrate! Join us for an evening of scrumptious food, good wine and great company. And find out the winners of the prizes. Partners are more than welcome! The University of Melbourne IEEE Student Branch will be partially subsidizing some of the food and drinks.

If you'd like to attend, please register before Monday 28th November so that we can confirm numbers with the restaurant.
